COUNTY OF WRIGHT City of Otsego was held this 19
CITY OF OTSEGO day of January, 1993, at 7:30 PM.
Doug Lindenfelser, Vice Mayor,
Floyd Roden, Larry Fournier and Ron Black, Council Members,
Jerome Perrault, Clerk, and Elaine Beatty, Deputy
Clerk/Zoning Administrator, were present.
The meeting was called to order by Vice -Mayor Doug
Lindenfelser.
Jim Revoir, of Bear Alarms, was present to explain his
alarm system. He said it comes with a computerized key pad
an outside alarm and an outside flashing strobe light. A set
of numbers would need to be pushed to de -activate the alarm
system upon entering the building. Eight rooms would have
alarm systems and seven doors would have key pads. This
system would hook up with the fire alarm system that was part
of the building specs. The system can be divided into 2
sections so that one area could have the alarm system turned
off and the other area turned on. All computerized code
numbers can be changed at any time desired. Mr. Revoir said
he would provide monitoring service for $256.00 plus sales
tax per year. Response time from the central monitoring
station is less than a minute.
Telephone Systems quotes for the new City Hall were
received from:
Audio Communicatons of Big Lake $4,729.50
A.T.& T 7,916.50
J. Becher Electric -Maple Grove 6,267.53
Integrated Communications/Minnetonka..6,238.00
Motion by Larry Fournier to accept the quote of Audio
Communications to provide and install a Panasonic Phone
System in the new City Hall for $4,729.50. Seconded by Ron
Black, all Council Members voted in favor of the motion.
Motion by Ron Black to request Audio Communications to
furnish and install a new 2 -way radio antenna at the new City
Hall for $1,391.00. Seconded by Floyd Roden, all Council
Members voted in favor of the motion.
Quotes to furnish and install an alarm system in the new
City Hall were received from:
Bear Alarms, Inc $2,387.64
Audio Communications 4,121.25
J. Becher Electric 3,120.28
Motion by Ron Black to accept the quote of Bear Alarms
Inc. to furnish and install an Alarm System in the new City
Hall for $2,387.64. Seconded by Larry Fournier, all Council
Members voted in favor of the motion.
Motion by Ron Black to purchase the following items from
Bartley Sales CO. of Minneapolis:
2 plastic signs
2 handicapped parking signs
5 metal toilet partitions
1 flag pole
Seconded by Floyd Roden, all Council Members voted in
favor of the motion,
