County of Wright was held this 18th day of April, 1994, at 7:30 PM. Norman F.
City of Otsego Freske, Mayor, Doug Lindenfelser, Floyd Roden, Larry Fournier
and Ron Black, Council Members, Jerome Perrault, Clerk, and
James Barthel, Treasurer, were present.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Norman F. Freske. The Council reviewed the
quarterly report of receipts and disbursements for the 1st quarter of 1994 and the general
consensus was that the 1994 Budget was right on track with the exception of the
Engineering, which was over budget. Jerome Perrault explained that there were
engineering expenses incurred in 1993 that were billed for and paid in January, 1994. The
Council agreed that consideration of increasing the rent for the Peavey House should be
placed on the agenda for the next Council Meeting as the repair and upkeep of the house
is far exceeding the rent receipts in 1993. Another item to consider in the budget for the
next year is the 25% matching funds for the Park Grant which has been applied for. In
other Council Business, the Council agreed that the street area over the large culvert
under 83rd Street needs an overlay as the street has settled, and also a spot on 80th Street
near the Jerry Holland residence needs an overlay.
On motion the meeting adjourned.
