EMERGENCY COUNCIL MEETING ON BUDGET

1. MAYOR NORMAN F FRESKE WILL CALL THE MEETING TO ORDER.
Norman F Freske called the meeting to order at 7:30PM.
ROLL CALL:
Norman F Freske, Mayor, Doug Lindenfelser, Floyd Roden, Larry Fournier Council
Members were present. Ron Black, Council Member was absent.
Also present were Jerome Perrault, Clerk, Jim Barthel, Treasurer, Elaine Beatty, Deputy
Clerk/Zoning Adm. and Dave Chase, Public Works Supervisor.
2. DISCUSSION OF BUDGET FIGURES AND SET LEVY FIGURE:
Jerry Perrault explained what last year's figures were and how they were reduced after the
original Levy. He explained further. More discussion was had on what was done last
year.
The proposed Budget for the Departtnents were reviewed. It was decided to remove
Administrative Budget:
$15,000.00 from Parks and Recs Dept. as it was in the budget twice.
$15,000.00 was deleted from the Building Inspector, as the Bldg. Permits were less.
$30,000.00 Total Deleted from Adm. Budget
From the Public Works:
$10,000.00 for future salt shed was removed
$13,000.00 for emergency siren was removed
$ 7,000.00 for future street lights was removed
$30,000.00 Total Deleted from Public Works
LARRY FOURNIER MOTION TO HAVE JERRY PERRAULT SEND IN OUR
LEVY AT $643,569.00 for 1995. DOUG LINDENFELSER SECONDED THE
MOTION. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY. (COMPARED TO $458,829.00
for 1994).
See attached information on 1995 Budget Figures used.
3. ANY OTHER COUNCIL ITEMS:
Council paid claims Nos.990 through Nos. 1077 inclusive.
