ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT

DELINQUENT UTILITY BILLINGS

1. Mayor Stockamp will open the Public Hearing.
Mayor Stockamp opened the Public Hearing at 6:00 PM.
Roll Call: Mayor Stockamp; Councilmembers: Vern Heidner, Tom
Darkenwald, and Dan Scharber. Mark Thorsted absent.
Staff: Gary Groen, Finance Director; Andy MacArthur, City Attorney; Ron
Wagner, City Engineer; Tami Loff, Deputy Clerk; Sue Frisch, Utility Billing and
Mary Olson, Utility Billing.
2. City Attorney comments.
Andy MacArthur went over the procedure. He stated that the assessment roll has
been adjusted and that a new copy has been given to the council.
3. Presentation of the Assessment Roll.
Gary Groen said that all affected properties have been sent notices.
4. Public Comments.
No one present.
5. Close the Public Hearing.
Mayor Stockamp closed the Public Hearing at 6:04 PM.
6. City Council Discussion.
CM Heidner said at the bottom of page it states "Occupant" and is that right.
Andy said that it will remain a lien with the property. The city cannot assess
those properties at this time.
CM Darkenwald motioned to close the meeting. Seconded by CM
Heidner. All in favor. Motion carried.
