RE: Wayfinding Project Update
At the June Park Commission meeting, Commissioners reviewed the concepts that had been
revised. The Commission was in agreeance the updates were sufficient. The Park Identification
signs were approved for the concepts going forward. The large, medium, and small park
identification signs will be based on whether the park is a community park or neighborhood
park.
Ms. Welter will be in attendance to present the kiosk she has designed for the Wayfinding
Signage Project. She has used the same construction materials to create a uniform model to
present. Ms. Welter will be looking for any feedback on the kiosk design before designs are sent
to HKGi. HKGi will be taking on drawing up construction documents and specifications for cost
estimates. Ms. Welter also has trail map updates to present.
After this third round of review, public engagement will be needed to fulfill the grant obligations.
HKGI is currently working on an online survey, residents will be able to give feedback on the
Wayfinding Signage Project. The survey will go live after this July Park Commission meeting.
