07-11-2022 City Council MinutesOTSEGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING MONDAY, JULY 11, 2022 7:00 PM OTSEGO PRAIRIE CENTER Call to Order. Mayor Stockamp called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM. Roll Call: Mayor Jessica Stockamp; Councilmembers: Tom Darkenwald, Tina Goede, and Brittany Moores. City Staff: City Administrator/Finance Director Adam Flaherty; Human Resources/Assistant City Administrator Sabrina Hille; and City Clerk Audra Etzel. Absent: Councilmember Jeff Dahl; City Staff: City Attorney Dave Kendall; City Engineer Ron Wagner; and City Planner Daniel Licht. Pledge of Allegiance: Mayor Stockamp led in the Pledge of Allegiance. 1. Open Forum: Mayor Stockamp opened the Open Forum at 7:01 PM. Jeanne Holland from Albertville is a life long resident of Wright County and is running for District 3 County Commissioner. She attended the Wright County Commission meetings when the process of redistricting was being reconsidered and thought it was a good move with the partnership of Otsego and Albertville. CM Darkenwald asked about the mission for Wright County. Ms. Holland said she wants to embrace the growth and support the people that live here; to continue the small-town feel. Ms. Holland would appreciate your vote at the August Primary. Mayor Stockamp closed the Open Forum at 7:10 PM. 2. Consider Agenda Approval. CM Moores motioned to approve the agenda as written, seconded by CM Goede. All in favor. Motion carried 4-0 3. Consent Agenda. 3.1 Approve Claims List. 3.2 Approve City Council Meeting Minutes. A. June 27, 2022 Meeting. B. June 27, 2022 Special Meeting. 3.3 Approve the City Council Special Compensation for June 2022. 3.4 Adopt Resolution 2022-62 Appointing Election Judges for the 2022 Election. CM Moores motioned to approve the consent agenda as written, seconded by Mayor Stockamp All in favor. Motion carried 4-0. 4. City Council Reports and Updates: No updates. 5. Staff Reports and Updates. City Administrator/Finance Director Flaherty said City Planner Licht sent out an email for a possible special meeting at a developer's request. The City Council is not able to meet the week of July 181h due to a lack of a quorum.
