RESOLUTION NO: 2022-66
APPROVING TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNAL AGREEMENT NO. 1048186
WHEREAS the City of Otsego has obtained a MnDOT grant for the addition of flashing yellow arrows to six of
the signal systems along TH101; and
WHEREAS the City has already agreed to Traffic Control Signal Agreement No. 1048186; and
WHEREAS MnDOT is requiring a resolution including the flashing yellow left arrows as items the City is
responsible for maintenance and electrical energy.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OTSEGO, MINNESOTA:
1. That the City of Otsego enter into an agreement with the State of Minnesota, Department of
Transportation for the following purposes, to provide Maintenance and Electrical Energy for the
Traffic Control Signals with Street Lights, Emergency Vehicle Pre-emption, Flashing Yellow Left Arrow,
Signing, and Interconnect on Trunk Highway 101 at CSAH 36 West Ramp, CSAH 38 East and West
Ramps, and CSAH 42 East and West Ramps, in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth
and contained in Agreement No. 1048186, a copy of which was before Council.
2. That the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized to execute such agreement and any
amendments, and thereby assume for and on behalf of the City all of the contractual obligations
contained herein.
