RESOLUTION NO: 2022-75
ACCEPTING QUOTES AND AWARDING CONTRACT
WHEREAS, pursuant to a request for quotes for the construction of the TH101 Ramps Signals Improvement
Project, City Project No. 22-09, quotes were received, opened on September 20, 2022, and tabulated
according to law, and the following quotes were received complying with the request; and
1. Granite Ledge Electrical Contractors, Inc. $59,595.00
2. Egan Company $74,900.00
3. Killmer Electric $82,895.00
4. Design Electric, Inc. $85,717.00
WHEREAS, it appears that Granite Ledge Electrical Contractors, Inc. of Foreston, Minnesota is the lowest
responsible quoter.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OTSEGO, MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and City Clerl< are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Granite
Ledge Electrical Contractors, Inc. of Foreston, Minnesota in the name of the City of Otsego for the
TH101 Ramps Signals Improvement Project, City Project No. 22-09, according to the plans and
specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all quoters the bid bond made
with their quotes, except that the bid bond of the successful quoter and the next lowest quoter shall
be retained until a contract has been signed.
