RESOLUTION NO: 2022-85
RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF A FEASIBILITY REPORT
FOR THE 2023 STREET RENEWAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS it is proposed to improve streets within Vasseur's Oal< Grove 15t and 2"d Additions, Otsego Acres
1" and 2,d Additions, Hidden Valley, Deer Field Acres, and Otsego Industrial Park, and to assess the benefited
property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OTSEGO, MINNESOTA:
1. That the proposed improvement, called the 2023 Street Renewal Improvement Project be referred
to Hakanson Anderson for study and that their firm is instructed to report to the City Council with all
convenient speed advising the council in a preliminary way as to whetherthe proposed improvement
is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible; whether it should best be made as proposed or in
connection with some other improvement; the estimated cost of the improvement as
recommended; and a description of the methodology used to calculate individual assessments for
affected parcels.
ADOPTED by the Otsego City Council this 14th day of November, 2022.
