School Knoll Park
August 16, 2022
6:00 PM
Call to Order.
Chair Kitty Baltos called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM.
Roll Call: Chair Kitty Baltos; Commissioners: Jim Breitbach, Angie Dehn, Angi Hilde,
Corey Tanner, Matt Danzl and Jessica Schaffer.
Absent: Commissioner Liz Benoit and Council Member Brittany Moores.
City Council: Mayor Jessica Stockamp
Staff: Nick Jacobs, Interim Parks and Recreation Director; and Connie Schwecke,
Recreation Coordinator.
1.Open Forum.
2.Consider Agenda Approval.
Parks and Recreation Commissioner Hilde motioned to approve the
agenda. Seconded by Commissioner Breitbach. All in favor. Motion
carried.
3.Consider Meeting Minutes.
3.1 July 16, 2022 Regular Meeting Minutes.
Commissioner Tanner motioned to recommend to the City Council to
approve all meeting minutes as written. Seconded by Commissioner
Hilde. All in favor. Motion carried.
4.Unfinished Business.
4.1 Review Wayfinding Projects.
Interim Parks and Recreation Director Jacobs reviewed the refined signage concepts
memo.
After discussion, the commissioners agreed on using option B (page 10) for the Prairie
Park Identification Signs.
5.New Business.
5.1 School Knoll Park Public Engagement.
Interim Parks and Recreation Director Jacobs introduced Tim Solomonson from HkGI
who presented the Community Engagement on upgrades to School Knoll Park.
Members of the community brought forth ideas and concerns and Interim Parks and
Recreation Director Jacobs and Mr. Solomonson answered their questions.
Mr. Solomonson asked the residents to write and post their ideas and suggestions on
the School Knoll Park rendering display.

6. Parks and Recreation Update.
Interim Parks and Recreation Director Jacobs presented parks update. Recreation
Coordinator Schwecke presented the recreation update.
7. City Council Reports.
Mayor Jessica Stockamp presented City Council Report.
8. Adjourn.
Commissioner Dehn motioned to adjourn. Seconded by Commissioner
Hilde. All in favor. Motion carried. Adjourned at 6:57 P.M.
