11-28-22 City Council Meeting MinutesOTSEGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING MONDAY, NOVEMBER 28, 2022 7:00 PM OTSEGO PRAIRIE CENTER Call to Order. Mayor Stockamp called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM. Roll Call: Mayor Jessica Stockamp; Councilmembers: Tom Darkenwald, Brittany Moores, Tina Goede and Jeff Dahl. City Staff: City Administrator/Finance Director Adam Flaherty, Assistant City Administrator/Human Resources Sabrina Hille, City Planner Dan Licht, City Engineer Ron Wagner, and City Attorney Dave Kendall. Pledge of Allegiance: Mayor Stockamp led in the Pledge of Allegiance. 1.Open Forum: Special Presentation: 2022 Election Judges. Deputy Clerk Bethany Benting was present via video conference to give a thank you to the Election Judges present in the audience tonight and all those who worked as an election judge. Bethany Benting noted Sonja Nelson, Anne Ness and Robin Hille for their additional hours put in during the election process. Bethany also noted the city staff that helped for the elections. Election Judges came up for a photo. Anne Ness; 8254 O'Brian Avenue NE -made comments on the amazing improvements from the 2020 elections, as well as the additional help and video instructions made by Bethany. Mayor Stockamp read some comments sent in from residents, that noted Bethany's hard work, positive attitude, and accuracy to ensure the integrity of the election. Mayor Stockamp thanked Bethany, Election Judges, and city staff on their hard work and time they put in for the election. I Mayor Stockamp opened the Open Forum at 7: 10 PM. No one from the public spoke. Mayor Stockamp closed the Open Forum at 7:11 PM. 2. Consider Agenda Approval. CM Moores motioned to approve the agenda as written, seconded by CM Dahl. All in favor.
