JOINT RESOLUTION FOR COOPERATION BETWEEN
THE CITIES OF OTSEGO AND DAYTON AND THE TOWN OF FRANKFORT
TO UNDERTAKE PRELIMINARY PLANS AND STUDIES FOR THE
PURPOSES OF DETERMINING THE FEASIBILITY
OF A JOINT WASTEWATER TREATMENT FACILITY
WHEREAS, the City of Otsego, the City of Dayton, and the Town of
Frankfort have entered into discussions about a possible joint
venture to construct a wastewater treatment plant; and
WHEREAS, Otsego, Dayton and Frankfort have jointly submitted a
questionnaire application for a "Leadership with Local Elected and
Appointed Persons" (LEAP) pilot project; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for Otsego, Dayton, and Frankfort to
cooperate by exchanging information, holding joint meetings,
holding joint meetings of professional and other staff, and in any
other appropriate manner to facilitate determination of the
feasibility of said joint venture to construct a wastewater
facility; and
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Otsego, City of Dayton,
and Town of Frankfort shall cooperate with each other in all
reasonable ways to facilitate discussions and studies of the
feasibility of such a joint effort and each directs their
respective staff to comply with this resolution.
