City staff recommends the City Council accept the resignation of an advisory Commissioner.

BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
City staff received a notice of resignation from Planning Commissioner Richard Nichols on March 20th. City
staff is recommending the City Council appoint Charles Foster, who is currently appointed to the alternate
seat on the Planning Commission. Mr. Fosters term will remain unchanged, to expire on February 29, 2024.

PLEASE WORD MOTION AS YOU WOULD LIKE IT TO APPEAR IN THE MINUTES:
Motion to accept the resignation of Richard Nichols from the Planning Commission and thank him for his
service to the City and to appoint Charles Foster as a full member from the alternate position, with his seat
expiring February 29, 2024.
