AGENDA ITEM DETAILS RECOMMENDATION: City staff is recommending the City Council approve hiring for the Administrative Intern position. ARE YOU SEEKING APPROVAL OF A CONTRACT? No No BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION: In 2022, the City developed an Administrative Intern program, with funds being included in the 2023 budget to continue the internship program. Staff interviewed four individuals for the position and is recommending the hire of Nolan Ross for the Administrative Intern. City Staff have offered, and the applicant has accepted the position, at $17.00 per hour. The applicant has undergone an interview, reference inquiry, and successfully passed a background check. Nolan is anticipated to start with the City on May 22nd and will plan to work through the summer!
