No No BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION: City staff has identified several items of City property that no longer serve any useful City function. Pending approval, City staff will arrange for the sale of the items through a public auction this spring. BUDGET INFORMATION FUNDING: BUDGETED: N/A N/A 1 CITY OF OTSEGO COUNTY OF WRIGHT STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO: 2023-34 DECLARING CERTAIN CITY PROPERTY AS SURPLUS PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING SALE WHEREAS, City staff has concluded that the following items no longer serve any useful City function; and Wood Tiller – Model GTC60 1999 VR-36H Asphalt Roller 500 Gallon Water Tanks (2) Metal Skid Steer Tracks Reznor Shop Heater 12-Volt Spray Bar (2) Rear Mounted PTO Mower Diamond Skid Steer Mower Aluminum Truck Rack Rear Mount Brine Tank Kromer Field Painter WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute §471.345, subd. 17 outlines a municipality may contract to sell surplus property using an electronic selling process in which purchasers compete to purchase the surplus property at the highest price in an open and interactive environment; and WHEREAS, the City Council has met to discuss and review the surplus property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OTSEGO, MINNESOTA: 1. That the items listed above are hereby declared surplus City property. 2. City staff are hereby authorized to proceed with the disposition of the property in accordance with Minnesota Statute. 2 ADOPTED by the Otsego City Council this 22nd day of May, 2023.
