AGENDA ITEM DETAILS RECOMMENDATION: City staff recommends the City Council approve a change order for the 2023 Street Micro-Surfacing Project. ARE YOU SEEKING APPROVAL OF A CONTRACT? IS A PUBLIC HEARING REQUIRED? No No BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION: The 2023 Street Micro-Surfacing Project scope has changed. Riverwood National, Sunray Farms, and Nashua Avenue are to be removed from the micro-surfacing scope of the project. Scratch course will be added to the remaining project areas that were not originally receiving scratch course. The contract amount is $753,810.82. The adjusted scope contract amount is $542,072.73. Change Order #1 will decrease the construction cost by $211,738.09. The Administrative and Public Works Subcommittees have reviewed this information at their June 2023 meetings and recommend consideration and approval by the City Council.
