PUBLIC SAFETY COMMISSION

The Public Safety Commission met at 6 PM to clean-up the road prior to the 6:30 PM meeting.
Call to Order.
Chair Greeman called the meeting to order at 6:33 PM.
Roll Call: Chair David Greeman; Commissioners: Dan Freiberg, John Braun, Mark Wolf, Loren
Green, Kyle Heltemes and Gregory Hubbard; City Council: Mayor Jessica Stockamp, CM Tina
Goede & CM Ryan Dunlap.
Announcements.
None
1. Consider Agenda Approval.
Commissioner Dan Freiberg motioned to approve the agenda as written, seconded by
Commissioner Loren Green. All in favor. Motioned carried 7-0.
2. Consider the Following Minutes:
2.1 May 9, 2023
Commissioner Dan Freiberg motioned to approve the minutes as written, seconded by
Commissioner John Braun. All in favor. Motion carried 7-0.
3. Open Forum.
No comments were made.
4. Review received monthly reports:
4.1 Albertville Fire Department.
No one was present - see attached documents.
4.2 Elk River Fire Department.
No one present - see attached documents.
4.3 Rogers Fire Department.
No one was present - see attached documents.
4.4 Wright County Sheriff Department.
Sergeant Jason Oltmanns - Presentation, talked about recruitment of deputies and a car fire in
town. Sergeant Oltmanns answered a number of questions from the commissioners.

5. Set Next Meeting.
Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at 6:30 PM.
5.1 Other Business:
Discussed the Otsego Prairie Fest event coming up soon. The Commissioners would like to have
another public safety booth/table this year at the event.
6. Adjourn.
Commissioner Mark Wolf motioned to adjourn at 7:58 PM, seconded by Commissioner Dan
Freiberg. All in favor. Motion carried. 7-0
