RESOLUTION NO: 2023-47
ACCEPTING A COMMUNITY SAFETY GRANT DONATION FROM
CENTERPOINT ENERGY
WHEREAS, CenterPoint Energy has made a cash donation of $1,715.00 to the City of Otsego through the Community Safety
Grant Program; and
WHEREAS, the donation to the City is for the purpose of purchasing an 800 mhz radio for safety equipment; and
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes 465.03 requires that all gifts and donations of real or personal property be accepted only with
the adoption of the governing body; and
WHEREAS, the City sincerely thanks CenterPoint Energy for their generous donation and for its support of the community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OTSEGO, MINNESOTA:
1. That the donation from CenterPoint Energy in the amount of $1,715.00 is hereby adopted.
