RES 2023-52 Adoption of the 2023 Otsego Comprehensive PlanCITY OF OTSEGO COUNTY OF WRIGHT STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO: 2023-52 ADOPTION OF THE 2023 OTSEGO COMPREHENSIVE PLAN WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes 462.355 provides for cities to adopt and, from time -to -time, amend a comprehensive plan; and, WHEREAS, the City previously undertook a review of the Otsego Comprehensive Plan in its entirely and adopted an amendments on 10 December 2010; and, WHEREAS, the City Council initiated a review of the Otsego Comprehensive Plan and directed the Planning Commission to prepare and recommend updates to the goals, policies, and plans established therein; and, WHEREAS, a draft 2023 Otsego Comprehensive Plan, dated 7 August 2023, was prepared and reviewed by the Planning Commission, and; WHEREAS, the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing at their regular meeting on 7 August 2023 to present the draft 2023 Otsego Comprehensive Plan and receive comment, preceded by published and mailed notice; based upon review of the draft document and evidence received, the public hearing was closed and the Planning Commission recommended by a 6-0 vote that the City Council adopt the 2023 Otsego Comprehensive Plan based on the aforementioned findings. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF.OTSEGO THAT the 2023 Otsego Comprehensive Plan is adopted as presented. 1. The City Planner shall distribute the 2023 Otsego Comprehensive Plan to all adjacent cities, Wright County Planning &Zoning, Wright County Highway, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, and those School Districts serving the City. 2.
