Call to Order.
This meeting was called to order at 6:30 PM.
Roll Call: Chair David Greeman; Commissioners: Dan Freiberg, John Braun, Gregory Hubbard,
Mark Wolf, Loren Green, and Kyle Heltemes; City Council: Mayor Jessica Stockamp, CM Tina
Goede, Emergency Services Director Rausch.
2. Consider agenda approval.
Commissioner Dan Freiberg motioned to approve agenda as written. Seconded by
Commissioner Greg Hubbard. All in favor. Motioned carried. 7-0
3. Consider the following minutes:
3.1 July 11th, 2023
Commissioner Mark Wolf motioned to approve the minutes as written. Seconded by
Commissioner John Braun. All in favor. Motion carried. 7-0
4. Open Forum.
Kyle Heltemes - Discussed a dog being attacked by a coyote in the city recently. Sergeant
Oltmanns discussed options and what the sheriffs can do to help with this issue.
Dan Freiberg - Discussion with commissioners on having a fire district in the city. Director
Rausch answered many questions related to a district.
Director Rausch - Gave a brief update on fire equipment and fire department process. Asking
contractors to begin the process of designs and have them ready by the beginning of the year.
5. Review received monthly reports.
5.1 Albertville Fire Department - Report attached
5.2 Elk River Fire Department. - Report attached
5.3 Rogers Fire Department - Report attached
5.4 Wright County Sherriff Department. - Presentation - Discussed social media
concerns when incidents occur in the city. Presentation. Answered questions asked by the
commissioners and city council members.
***Commissioners signed up for Prairie Fest.
6. Set Next Meeting. September 12th, 2023

Commissioner Mark Wolf motioned to adjourn. Seconded by Commissioner Kyle Heltemes.
All in favor. Motion carried. 7-0
