Call to Order.
Vice Chair Angie Dehn called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM.
Roll Call: Vice Chair Angie Dehn. Commissioners: Liz Benoit, Jessica Schaffer, and
Norman Witteborg.
Absent: Chair Kitty Baltos Commissioners: Matt Danzl, and Kurt Baldry
City Council: Council Members Brittany Moores and Ryan Dunlap
Staff: Nick Jacobs, Parks and Recreation Director and Connie Schwecke, Recreation
Coordinator.
1. Open Forum.
2. Consider Agenda Approval.
Commissioner Schaffer motioned to approve the agenda. Seconded by
Commissioner Benoit. All in favor. Motion carried.
3. Consider Meeting Minutes.
3.1 August 15 Meeting Minutes.
Commissioner Benoit motioned to recommend to the City Council to
approve all meeting minutes as written. Seconded by Commissioner
Witteborg. All in favor. Motion carried.
4. Unfinished Business.
4.1 Ashwood Park Community Engagement.
Parks and Recreation Director Jacobs introduced Tim Solomonson from HKGi
who presented two different Ashwood Park Concept Plans to the commissioners
and the public who reside near Ashwood Park. Mr. Solomonson presented two
concept plans; concept A plan being a more nature play themed park while
concept B being a more tradition themed play park.
After discussion, it was recommended to design a combination of both concept
plans leaning more with a nature themed park but adding a possible half-court
basketball court.

6. Parks and Recreation Update.
Parks and Recreation Director Jacobs presented parks update. Recreation Coordinator
Schwecke presented the recreation update.

City Council Member Moores presented City Council Report.
8. Adjourn.
Commissioner Benoit motioned to adjourn. Seconded by Commissioner
Schaffer. All in favor. Motion carried. Adjourned at 8:13P.M.
