Call to Order.
Chair Kitty Baltos called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM.
Roll Call: Chair Kitty Baltos; Commissioners: Angie Dehn, Liz Benoit, Matt Danzl, Jessica Schaffer Kurt Baldry, Norman Witteborg.
City Council: Council Members Brittany Moores and Ryan Dunlap
Staff: Nick Jacobs, Parks and Recreation Director and Connie Schwecke, Recreation Coordinator.
1. Open Forum.
2. Consider Agenda Approval.
Commissioner Benoit motioned to approve the agenda. Seconded by Commissioner Schaffer. All in favor. Motion carried.
3. Consider Meeting Minutes.
3.1 February 21, 2023 Regular Meeting Minutes.
Commissioner Dehn motioned to recommend to the City Council to approve all meeting minutes as written. Seconded by Commissioner Danzl. All in favor. Motion carried.
4. Unfinished Business.
5. New Business.
5.1 Election of Officers.
Chair Baltos asked for nominations for chair.
Commissioner Dehn nominated Kitty Baltos for chair. No other nominations were voiced.
Chair Baltos asked for nominations for vice chair.
Chair Baltos nominated Angie Dehn for vice chair. No other nominations were voiced.
Chair Baltos asked for a voice vote for chair.
The vote was 6 yeh and 1 abstained, as a matter of record, Kitty Baltos was elected chair.
Chair Baltos asked for a voice vote for vice chair.
The vote was unanimous Angie Dehn was elected vice chair.
5.2 Lehrke Soccer Field lights
Parks and Recreation Director Jacobs presented memo. After discussion, the commissioners agreed to move forward with the soccer lights.
Commissioner Baldry motioned to recommend to the City Council to move forward with the Lehrke Soccer Field lights. Seconded by Commissioner Benoit. All in favor. Motion carried.
6. Parks and Recreation Update.
Parks and Recreation Director Jacobs presented parks update. Recreation Coordinator Schwecke presented the recreation update.
7. City Council Reports.
City Council Member Moores presented City Council Report.
8. Adjourn.
Commissioner Schaffer motioned to adjourn. Seconded by Commissioner Benoit. All in favor. Motion carried. Adjourned at 7:31 P.M.
