City staff is recommending that the City Council approve the hiring for a Streets Maintenance I position.

BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
City staff recently conducted interviews for the Streets Maintenance I position in the Streets Department. This is an
existing position, and came from a retirement in the department. Staff recommends the hiring of Aaron Larson for the
Maintenance I position.
Aaron has successfully passed the required background check, driver license check and drug screening. Staff
recommends Aaron Larson be hired at a Pay Grade 3, Step 3.
