RESOLUTION NO: 2024-01
DESIGNATING AN OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER
WHEREAS, in accordance with Minnesota Statute §412.831, the City Council shall, annually at its first meeting of the year,
designate a legal newspaper of general circulation in the City as its official newspaper, in which shall be published such
ordinances and other matters as are required by law to be so published and such other matters at the City Council may deem
advisable and in the public interest to have published in this manner; and
WHEREAS, the Star News is a qualified newspaper in accordance with Minnesota Statute §331A,02.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OTSEGO, MINNESOTA:
The Star News is designated as the official newspaper of the City of Otsego, effective immediately.
ADOPTED by the Otsego City Council this 8th day of January, 2024.
