RESOLUTION NO: 2024-18
ESTABLISHING AN ABSENTEE BALLOT BOARD FOR THE
2024 PRESIDENTIAL NOMINATING PRIMARY ELECTION
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes §2036.121, Subdivision 1 requires the City to establish an Absentee Ballot Board, and;
WHEREAS, this board will bring uniformity in the processing of accepting or rejecting returned absentee ballots in the City
of Otsego, and;
WHEREAS, the Absentee Ballot Board should consist of a sufficient number of election judges as provided in sections
§204B.19 to 2046.22, and/or the City Clerk and Deputy Clerk and City staff who have received training in the processing
and counting of absentee ballots.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OTSEGO, MINNESOTA:
1. The City of Otsego hereby establishes an Absentee Ballot Board as follows:
Michele Becker, Stephanie Carpentier, Renae Citrowsl<i, Judy Fehn, Marqueta Hainje, Annlea Hoxter,
Gary Hoxter, Suzanne Leshovsky, Mary Murphy, Jim Penick, Judy Riess, Toni Seroshek, B. Jane Sieber,
Richard Sieber, Janet Skoog, Terri Thompson, Kristine Weideman, Kimberly Wilcox, and Norman
Witteborg.
Audra Etzel, Katie I<alland, Adam Flaherty, Sabrina Hille, Sandy Lindenfelser, Mary Olson, Connie
Schwecl<e, Kelly Thelen, Jal<e Larson, and Julie Weiers.
2. Wright County has delegated the training responsibility for the Absentee Ballot Board to the Local
Election Administrator.
