City staff recommends the City Council approve hiring for seasonal positions.

BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
City staff is recommending the hiring of seasonal employees to assist with departmental responsibilities. Seasonal staff
are assigned to either the Park Maintenance, Recreation, Street Maintenance, or Utilities department based on skills and
interests.
If approved the seasonal staff will start based on availability, and the employment would not exceed 6 months. Each of
these individuals have undergone an interview and successfully passed a background check.

Motion to approve the hiring of Austin Brethorst ($16 per hour), Sam Welter ($17 per hour), Steve Springer ($21 per
hour), Elise Ames ($17.00 per hour), Jaxson Bean ($17.00 per hour), Tom Reger ($18.00 per hour), Daniel Hornacek
($17.00 per hour), and Ethan Hansen ($19.00 per hour) for seasonal positions.
