RES 2024-44 Establishing an Absentee Ballot Board for the 2024 Primary ElectionCITY OF OTSEGO COUNTY OF WRIGHT STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO: 2024-44 ESTABLISHING AN ABSENTEE BALLOT BOARD FOR THE 2024 PRIMARY ELECTION WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes §203B.121, Subdivision 1 requires the City to establish an Absentee Ballot Board, and; WHEREAS, the Absentee Ballot Board will bring uniformity in the processing of accepting or rejecting returned absentee ballots in the City of Otsego, and; WHEREAS, the Absentee Ballot Board should consist of a sufficient number of election judges as provided in sections §20413.19 to 20413.22, and/or the City Clerk and Deputy Clerk and City staff who have received training in the processing and counting of absentee ballots. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OTSEGO, MINNESOTA: 1. The City of Otsego hereby establishes an Absentee Ballot Board as follows: Michele Becker, Stephanie Carpentier, Renae Citrowsl<i, Jane Covart, Judy Fehn, Marqueta Hainje, Annlea Hoxter, Gary Hoxter, Laurie Jones, Suzanne Leshovsl<y, Mary Murphy, Jim Penick, Judy Riess, Toni Seroshek, B. Jane Sieber, Richard Sieber, Janet Skoog, Kristine Weideman, and Kimerly Wilcox 17TI Audra Etzel, Katie Kalland, Adam Flaherty, Sabrina Hille, Sandy Lindenfelser, Mary Olson, Connie Schwecl<e, Heidi Carey, Holly Blaser, and Marlo Olson 2. Wright County has delegated the training responsibility for the Absentee Ballot Board to the Local Election Administrator. ADOPTED by the Otsego City Council this 24th day of June, 2024.
