Board of Review (Cont. from 4-20-06).
Mayor Fournier called the Board of Review back to order at 6:31 PM.
Roll Call: Mayor Larry Fournier; Councilmembers: Vern Heidner, Dan Scharber and
Jessica Stockamp. Absent: Mark Thorsted.
Staff: Mike Robertson, City Administrator; Judy Hudson, City Clerk and Randy
DesMarais, Assistant Wright County Assessor.
Mr. DesMarais reported on the two properties he and City Assessor Pete Merges
reviewed.

Mr. DesMarais reported there is more waste land than what they have in their records
and recommended a reduction. The outbuildings on this parcel he and Pete Merges will
review for Year 2007.
Mayor Fournier motioned to reduce Green Acres from $129,600 to $112,400,
and the EMV reduced from $1,273,000 to $1,046,700. Seconded by CM
Heidner. All in favor. Motion carried.

Mr. DesMarais reported there is an erosion problem that needs immediate attention.
The property owners have tried correcting this problem and will continue to do so. Mr.
DesMarais recommended lowering the land value and that they will continue to review
annually.
CM Heidner motioned to reduce the land valuation on this property from
$152,500 to $145,000. Seconded by CM Stockamp. All in favor. Motion
carried.
CM Scharber motioned to adjourn the 2006 Board of Review. Seconded by
CM Stockamp. All in favor. Motion carried.
