Dear Planning Commissioners,
As an adjacent landowner, I'm writing in support of the Sahan Vision project application for a
comprehensive plan amendment, for the following reasons:
1. The proposed project is consistent with the uses the city of Otsego has envisioned, and
previously approved, for the land area west of Kadler Ave. NE.
2. It serves to complete the extension of Kadler Ave NW and the link to 80th St. NE.
3. There currently exists in ground infrastructure to this site for sanitary sewer and water.
4. The completion of these improvements will ultimately enhance market favorability for the land
east of Kadler Ave NE.
By setting aside an area west of Kadler for industrial the interim industrial use of IOS, it also preserves
buffering and separation of uses from the residential and light industrial uses envisioned in the
Comprehensive Plan for the parcels east of Kadler.
The city has benefited by the approval of development for the Michels Company, Bury Companies,
Dakota Supply, and IOS Otsego. It only seems reasonable to continue on that successful path. I
encourage you to do so.
