consider amendments the Storm Sewer Improvement District.

BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
The City established a storm water utility district to fund the inspection and maintenance of the City's
storm water utilities and treatment basins platted after 1991 that are subject to MS4 storm water
management requirements. The recent increase in development includes final plats not in the initial
storm water utility district, necessitating an amendment of the district boundaries. Amendment of the
district boundaries requires a public hearing. City staff is recommending the public hearing be held by
the City Council at the regular meeting on 13 October 2014 at 7:OOPM.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Otsego City Council will conduct a Public Hearing on Monday, October 13,
2014, at 7:00 PM (or as soon after as time permits) in the Council Chambers at
Otsego Prairie Center, 8899 Nashua Avenue NE, Otsego. The Public Hearing is
initiated by the City of Otsego to consider adoption of an ordinance establishing a
Storm Sewer Improvement District pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 444.075 over
the entire area within the territorial limits of the City of Otsego, which the City
may establish and collect a stormwater utility fee from all properties therein.
All interested parties are invited to attend the Public Hearing to express their
questions, concerns and comments. If you would like further information
