CITY OF OTSEGO
CITY COUNCIL WORKSHOP
August 16, 2005
Roll Call:Otsego City Council: Mayor Larry Fournier,
Councilmembers Dan Scharber, Mark Thorsted, Jessica Stockamp,
and Vern Heidner.
City Staff: City Administrator Michael Robertson, City
Engineer Ron Wagner, Public Works Director Brad Belair, City
Planner Dan Licht, and Intern Patrick Waletzko.
Mayor Fournier called the workshop to order at 5:00 p.m.
Building Plan Review - Council reviewed the proposed design
for the new Public Works building with architect Jeff Oertel.
Council was in consensus to place the building close to 907"
Street, have the office side closest to Nashua Avenue, have a
flat roof on the vehicle side, and to plan to construct the
salt shed next year.
Council agreed to meet in workshop to discuss revised plans
Monday, September 19 at 1:00 p.m.
Other Business - Ron Wagner and Mike Robertson reviewed the
recent letter noting Otsego is now on the list of cities that
must come into compliance in 17 months with unfunded State
and Federal mandates regarding stormwater systems.
With no other business, Mayor Fournier adjourned.the meeting
at 6:33 p.m.
