AGENDA ITEM DETAILS RECOMMENDATION: City staff recommends the City Council approve the hiring of Administrative/Human Resources Intern. ARE YOU SEEKING APPROVAL OF A CONTRACT? No No BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION: To support the Administrative and Human Resources Departments, staff recommend the hiring of Riley Green for the budgeted position of Administrative/Human Resources Intern. If approved, the employee would assist with policy research, recruitment, records management, safety committee participation, and various other projects. Riley has undergone an interview and successfully passed a background check. The Seasonal and Temporary Pay Plan outlines a range of $16.00 to $22.00 per hour for the Administrative Intern position.
