2025.08.11 City Council Meeting MinutesOTSEGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING MONDAY, AUGUST 11, 2025 7:00 PM OTSEGO PRAIRIE CENTER Call to Order: Mayor Stockamp called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM. Roll Call: Mayor Jessica Stockamp and Councilmembers: Ryan Dunlap, Tina Goede, Michelle Lund, and Corey Tanner. City Staff: City Administrator/Finance Director Adam Flaherty, City Engineer Ron Wagner, City Attorney Dave Kendall, and City Clerk Audra Etzel. Pledge of Allegiance: Mayor Stockamp led in the Pledge of Allegiance. 1. Open Forum: Mayor Stockamp opened the Open Forum at 7*01 PM. No one from the public spoke. Mayor Stockamp closed the Open Forum at 7:02 PM. 2. Consider Agenda Approval: CM Dunlap motioned to approve the agenda as written, seconded by CM Goede. All in favor. Motion carried 5-0. 3. Consent Agenda: 3.1 Approve Claims List, 3.2 Approve City Council Meeting Minutes. A. July 28, 2025, Meeting. B. August 4, 2025, Special Minutes. 3.3 Approve City Council Special Compensation for July 2025. 3.4 Approve Pay Application #36 for the West WWTF Improvements Phase 1 Project. 3.5 Approve Pay Application #10 for the Wellhouse 4 Treatment Improvements Project. 3.6 Adopt Resolution 2025-34 Accepting Public Improvements — Dakota Supply Group. 3.7 Adopt Resolution 2025-35 Accepting a Donation from CenterPoint Energy. 3.8 Adopt Resolution 2025-36 Approving a Revised Capital Assets Policy, CM Dunlap motioned to approve the consent agenda as written, seconded by CM Tanner. All in favor. Motion carried 5-0. 4. City Council Reports and Updates: Mayor Stockamp said she will not be at the next Planning Commission meeting. Mayor Stockamp noted there was an accident at the SE corner of Parrish Avenue (CSAH 42) and 85th Page 1 of 2 MINUTES OF THE CITY OF OTSEGO REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING AUGUST 11, 2025 Street involving children and requested staff look at installing a pedestrian pad. City Engineer Wagner said staff can look at cost share options with Wright County to install pedestrian pads. CM Tanner asked about requesting a speed wagon location. Flaherty said to reach out to Streets Operation Manager Lamson who can add the location to the schedule. 5. Staff Reports and Updates: Flaherty noted the first set of concrete panels are being set for the Fire and Emergency Services Building. Etzel reminded the City Council of the upcoming Grand Opening of Condo Suites Otsego. City Engineer Wagner provided updates on active City projects. 6. Adjourn. CM Tanner motioned to adjourn at 7:11 PM, seconded by CM Goede. All in favor. Motion carried 5-0.
