CITY COUNCIL WORKSHOP
MONDAY, JULY 19, 2004

1. Mayor Fournier call the Workshop to order:
Mayor Fournier called the Workshop to order at 7:03 PM.
Roll Call: Mayor Larry Fournier; Council members: Vern Heidner, Virginia
Wendel and Dan Scharber. Absent was Jerry Struthers.
Staff: Mike Robertson, City Administrator and Judy Hudson, City Clerk.
2. Discussion of hiring a Public Works Supervisor.
Mike Robertson went over his July 19, 2004 Memo outlining surrounding cities
salary comparisons and the proposed job description. Council discussion and
consensus was that they want a supervisor who has municipal experience,
experience in managing and scheduling and can be active in future planning.
They agreed on a salary range of $40 to $55,000 range. They directed staff to
have this item on the next City Council Agenda.
3. Any other business.
CM Heidner noted he will be gone July 28th through August 3rd. CM Scharber
said he won't be able to attend the July 22nd Heritage Commission Meeting. CM
Wendel will attend in his place.
4. Adjourn.
Workshop adjourned at 8:34 PM.
