RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF
REPORT ON IMPROVEMENT
(85th Street and Hall's Pond)
WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve 85th Street NE between Page Avenue NE and a
point 700 feet east of Nashua Avenue NE by reconstructing the street to Municipal
State Aid Standards AND it is proposed to construct a storm sewer system for the
land adjacent to 85th Street NE which lies in the Hall's Pond Storm Sewer District and
to assess the benefitted property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement,
pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF OTSEGO,
MINNESOTA:
That the proposed improvement be referred to Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc.
for study and that he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed
advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is
feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with
some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
