BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
Public Safety Commissioner Sally Dufner has submitted her resignation from the commission due to a
schedule change. I have attached the current list of Advisory Commission appointments. This will leave
one vacant seat on the Public Safety Commission ending on February 28, 2015. Same as the other
Commission openings; City staff will post on the city website and the next Otsego View.
City staff received an application from Roger Mord for the Planning Commission. Looking for direction
from the City Council; set up interview or wait for more applicants.

Dear Otsego Public Safety Commission:
This letter serves as my notice to resign effective immediately from the Otsego Public Safety
Commission. My apologies fo.r. my lack of notice and lack of attendance at the past meetings. I have
changed careers and will no longer be able to attend meetings Tuesday evenings. I would like to thank
you for the opportunity to serve on the committee. It was a pleasure getting to know all of you. My
husband and I love residing in Otsego and we appreciate the time and effort taken on your behalf to
ensure we are safe.
