70th Street is receiving State Aid funding and a requirement of those funds is that the street be
designated no parking.

RESOLUTION NO. 2014-74
RESOLUTION RELATING TO PARKING RESTRICTIONS ON
S.A.P. 217-112-02 (70th Street NE) from Martin Farms Avenue NE to Oakwood
Avenue NE in the City of Otsego, Minnesota.
THIS RESOLUTION, passed this 27th day of October 2014, by the City of Otsego
in Wright County, Minnesota. The Municipal corporation shall hereinafter be called the
"City", WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the "City" has planned the improvement of 70th Street NE State Aid
Route No. 217-112-02 from Martin Farms Avenue NE to Oakwood Avenue NE in the
City of Otsego, Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, the "City", will be expending Municipal Street Aid Funds on the
improvements of this Street, and
WHEREAS, this improvement does not provide adequate width for parking on
both sides of the street; and approval of the proposed construction as a Municipal State
Aid Street project must therefore be conditioned upon certain parking restrictions.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED:
That the "City", shall ban the parking of motor vehicles on 70th Street from Martin Farms
Avenue NE to Oakwood Avenue NE at all times.
