Resolution for Accepting Quotes and
Awarding a Contract
WHEREAS, the City intends to construct 620 lineal feet of bituminous path and two bituminous
pads for bike racks at the Otsego Prairie Park,
AND WHEREAS, six contractors were requested to submit quotes for the work,
AND WHEREAS, two quotes were received for the work as follows:

Rum River Contracting $5,378.00
C & S Blacktopping $7,373.00
AND WHEREAS, it appears that Rum River Contracting of Princeton, Minnesota is a
responsible contractor and has submitted the lowest quote,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF OTSEGO,
MINNESOTA:
1. The mayor and clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Rum
River Contracting of Princeton, Minnesota in the name of the City of Otsego for construction
of bituminous trails and pads in Otsego Prairie Park.
2. Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. or its agents are authorized to inspect the work and
materials for conformance to specifications.
Adopted by the Otsego City Council this 15TH day of October , 1997.
