Canvass the results of the City Election held Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at the General Election.

BACKGROUND/JUSTIFICATION:
The Otsego City Council had two four year terms (2015-18) on the General Election held Tuesday,
November 4, 2014. Precinct 1A had 2373 voters; Precinct 2A had 2182 voters; and Precinct 3 had 138
voters for a total of 4,693 persons voting. The attached resolution canvasses the votes tabulated at
each precinct. The official election results for the two City Council seats shall be Tom Darkenwald and
Vern Heidner.

CITY ELECTION
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 41 2014
GENERAL ELECTION
WHEREAS: The City of Otsego held an election for a two Council Members on
Tuesday, November 4, 2014 during the General Election with 4,693 persons voting.
WHEREAS: On this 10th day of November, 2014 the City Council has met to canvass
said elections results;
WHEREAS: The votes tabulated at said election were:

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Otsego City Council that the official election
results for two City Council seats for each a Four Year Term (2015-2018) shall be Tom
