CITY OF OTSEGO
COUNTY OF WRIGHT, MINNESOTA
A RESOLUTION MAKING APPOINTMENTS TO THE PARKS AND RECREATION
COMMISSION.
WHEREAS, the City has established a Parks and Recreation Commission to
advise the City Council; and,
WHEREAS, individuals are appointed to serve on the City Council advisory
commissions in accordance with the City Code and bylaws of each body and at the
discretion of the City Council; and,
WHEREAS, the there are seats on the Parks and Recreation Commission
currently vacant; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council must make appointments to the new terms of these
advisory commission positions.
WHEREAS, the City Council received applications to be considered for
appointment to the Parks and Recreation Commission; and,
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Commission interviewed applicants at
their meeting on 13 July 2011 and subsequently voted to recommend his appointment;
and.
that:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Otsego
Duane Lauseng is hereby removed and Jim Kjendle is appointed to the
remainder of the term on the Parks and Recreation Commission ending 31
December 2012.
2. Susan Krekelberg is hereby appointed to an alternate position on the Parks and
Recreation Commission for a term ending 31 December 2011.
3. Tristie Freeberg is hereby appointed to the Parks and Recreation Commission for
the remainder of the term ending 31 December 2011.
4. Charles VonBerg is hereby appointed to an alternate position on the Parks and
Recreation Commission for a term ending 31 December 2014
