CANVASS CITY ELECTIONS

1. Mayor Fournier will call the meeting to order.
Mayor Fournier called the meeting to order at 4 PM.
Roll Call: Mayor Larry Fournier, Councilmembers: Vern Heidner, Virginia Wendel,
Jerry Struthers and Councilmember elect Dan Scharber. Absent: Suzanne Ackerman.
Staff: Mike Robertson, City Administrator and Judy Hudson, City Clerk/Zoning Adm.
2. Canvass of Municipal Elections of November 5 2002.
A. Review of the 2002 General Election Summary.
Judy Hudson reviewed the Summary with the Council.
B. Declare winners of the tow City Council Positions by approval of the
attached Resolution:
Council Seat No 1. Vern Heidner received 1,224 votes.
Council Seat No. 2. Dan Scharber received 1,186 votes.
CM Struthers motioned to adopt Resolution 2002-38 approving the canvass of the
Municipal General Election held on November 5, 2002. Seconded by CM Wendel.
All in favor. Motion carried.
Judy handed out the Certificates of Election to Vern Heidner and Dan Scharber. They
will be sworn in office on January 13, 2003.

4. Adjourn.
CM Heidner motioned to adjourn. Seconded by CM Wendel. All in favor. Motion
carried.
