1 Mayor Larry Fournier will call meeting to order.
Mayor Larry Fournier Called the meeting to order at 4PM.
ROLL CALL:
Mayor Larry Fournier, Council Members Suzanne Ackerman, Vern Heidner, Virginia
Wendel present and CM Mark Benning Absent. Staff present, Mike Robertson, City
Administrator and Elaine Beatty, City Clerk/Zoning Administrator.
2. Canvass of Municipal Elections of November 3,1998 (7AIVI to 8PM polls

A. Review of OPTIC H TAPE - Results
The Optic H Tape and results of the Municipal Election for the City of Otsego
were reviewed and questions asked by the Council.
B. Declare winners of the two City Council Positions by Motions
1 City Council Seat #1 Suzanne Strong Ackerman
2 City Council Seat #2 Vern Heidner
LARRY FOURNMR, MAYOR MOTIONED TO DECLARE SUZANNE STRONG
ACKERMAN THE WINNER OF COUNCIL SEAT #I AND VERN HEIDNER THE
WINNER OF COUNCIL SEAT #2. CM VIRGINIA WENDEL SECONDED THE
MOTION. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.

C. Declare that the question #1 (Referendum Re: Sunday Liquor for
the City of Otsego) by Motion
1 Declare question #1 passed
CM VERN HEIDNER MOTIONED THAT QUESTION #I (REFERENDUM RE:
SUNDAY LIQUOR FOR THE CITY OF OTSEGO) BE DECLARED APPROVED
CM VIRGINIA WENDEL SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED
UNANIMOUSLY.

3 Any other City Business Discussion
Mayor Fournier updated the Council on the water tower site.
Mike Robertson updated the Council on the fact that Albertville is working on
Greenhaven single family development and replacing a tile to the regulation size in
answer to the questions from resident Donald Greninger as to what is happening in that
area.
Mike also updated the Council on the NSCD Authority (Commuter train line) meeting.
and stated he has revised MPCA letter and will send out to MPCA.

VERN HEIDNER SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED
UNANIMOUSLY. MEETING ADJOURNED AT 5PM.
