CITY OF OTSEGO
COUNTY OF WRIGHT, MINNESOTA
A RESOLUTION RECEIVING A PETITION
FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF QUADAY AVENUE AND
72ND STREET WITH BLACKTOP SURFACING AND CALLING
FOR THE CITY ENGINEER TO CONDUCT A FEASIBILITY
STUDY ON THE PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT
WHEREAS, the Otsego City Council has received a
petition from property owners located along Quaday
Avenue and along 72nd Street requesting that those
streets be improved with blacktop surfacing, and;
WHEREAS, it is the City Council's intent to assess
some or all of the benefit of blacktop surfacing to
the benefiting property owners per Minnesota State
Statute 429, and;
WHEREAS, to assess benefiting property owners it is
necessary to have a qualified civil engineer
perform a study of the feasibility of the proposed
improve.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF OTSEGO, MINNESOTA:
1. That the City Council hereby directs the City
Engineer, Hakanson, Anderson, to perform a study of
the feasibility of improving Quaday Avenue and 72nd
Street with blacktop surfacing.
