RESOLUTION 99-35
RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS & SPECIFICATIONS
AND
ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT OF BIDS
WHEREAS, pursuant to direction of the Council, Hakanson Anderson
Associates, Inc., the consultant City engineer has prepared plans and specifications for
City Project 99.02, Street and Utility Improvements on Quaday Avenue, 78th Street and
Page Avenue, and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for
approval;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF OTSEGO,
MINNESOTA:
1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and
made a part hereof, are hereby approved.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official
paper and in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of
such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement
shall be published not less than twice, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that
bids wily be received by the clerk until 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 17, 1999, at
which time they will be publicly opened at city hall by the city clerk and engineer. Bids
shall then be tabulated, and will be considered by the council at the regularly scheduled
council meeting of August 23, 1999. No bids will be considered unless sealed and filed
with the clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified
check in the amount of 5.0% of such bid.
