SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING

Call to Order.
Mayor Jessica Stockamp called the meeting to order at 6:03 PM.
Roll Call: Mayor Jessica Stockamp; Councilmembers: Vern Heidner, Doug Schroeder, Jason
Warehime and Tom Darkenwald.
Staff: Lori Johnson, City Administrator and Tami Loff, City Clerk.
1. Swearing in of elected City Council Members.
City Council Members Tom Darkenwald and Vern Heidner were sworn in by City Clerk Loff.
2. 2015 Compensation.
City Administrator Johnson reviewed the staff report and distributed additional data collected
from the League of Minnesota Cities. There was discussion on continuing to review the market
rate adjustment and step increases in January in the future. The adjustment would be included
in each department's proposed budget.
City Administrator Johnson said the 2014 pay equity reporting is due January 31, 2015; the law
requires that each position be evaluated using an approved system. The point values for the
Utilities Lead Operator 184, Utilities Operator 6 124 and Utilities Operator C, D 110 still need to
be adopted.
CM Heidner motioned to approve the point values for Utilities Lead Operator 184,
Utilities Operator B 124 and Utilities Operator C, D 110. Seconded by CM Schroeder.
All in favor. Motion carried.
CM Heidner motioned to approve a market rate adjustment to the City's pay plan by
2% January 1, 2015. Seconded by CM Warehime. All in favor. Motion carried.
3. Adjourn.
CM Darkenwald motioned to adjourn. Seconded by CM Warehime. All in favor.
Motion carried. Adjourned at 6:41 PM.
