SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING
PRAIRIE CENTER
FEBRUARY 4, 2015
Call to Order.
Mayor Jessica Stockamp called the meeting to order at 6:15 PM.
Roll Cali: Mayor Jessica Stockamp; Councilmembers: Vern Heidner, Doug Schroeder and Jason
Warehime. Absent: Councilmember Tom Darkenwald.
Staff: Lori Johnson, City Administrator; Andy MacArthur, City Attorney; Tami Loff, City Clerk and
Attorney Soren Mattick of Campbell Knutson.
1, Personnel Policy Update.
City Attorney MacArthur said the City Council has authorized changes to the City Personnel
Policy and approved hiring Attorney Soren Mattick of Campbell Knutson to make proposed
changes and Mr. Mattick is here tonight to present those recommendations. City Administrator
Johnson said we are here to gather input from the City Council. She also stated the draft policy
was distributed to City staff.
Mr. Mattick stated the policy was reviewed for legal compliance and to simplify the document.
He reviewed the draft policy and recommendations in detail. He said he will make the
corrections and send the updated policy to the City Administrator by Monday.

CM Warehime motioned to adjourn. Seconded by CM Schroeder. All in favor. Motion
carried. Adjourned at 9:36 PM.
