CITY OF OTSEGO
COUNTY OF WRIGHT, MINNESOTA
A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING A NO PARKING ZONE ON A SEGMENT OF 72nd
STREET WITHIN THE RIVERBEND SOUTH PLAT.
WHEREAS, 72nd Street within the Riverbend South plat is a urban section
commercial street designed for lot access for adjacent properties guided by the
Comprehensive Plan and zoned for commercial uses; and,
WHEREAS, the on -street parking of vehicles on 72nd Street may cause
congestion on the public street and reduce visibility along the street and impede access
by emergency vehicles, which is a risk to public health safety and welfare; and,
WHEREAS, Section 8-3-2.0 of the City Code authorizes the City Council to
designate parking zones by resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED THAT the 72nd Street within
the Riverbend South plat within the City of Otsego shall be designated as a no parking
zone and posted with no parking signage as determined by the City Engineer.
