12-02-92 PCCITY OF OTSEGO PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES OF 12/2/92
AT 8PM - PAGE 1 -
Meeting was called to order by Chair Swenson at 8PM. The
following Planning Commission Members were present:

Larry Fournier, Council was also present
Ing Roskaft motioned to approve the minutes of 11/18/92
Planning Commission Meeting. Arleen Nagel seconded the
motion. Motion carried unanimously.
Accessory Buildings -- Wallace stated that they had not
had time to have a committee meeting regarding the accessory
buildings but they still want to meet and will bring the
information back to the commission from that meeting.
Swenson asked if there were any questions pertaining to the
accessory buildings? There were none at this time.
Immediate Service Area Line to include the School
District property and other areas? Bob Kirmis was absent
because of illness. Swenson turned it over to Black who
explained what the Council expected from the Planning
Commission in regards to the Immediate Service Line and
possible changes. He explained that the Council wanted the
Planning Commission to look at the North boundary of the
South 1/2 of Section 22 where it extends from the "H" on the
map to the river to the East. (the Southerly boundary of
Section 22).
Swenson asked for rational for this. Black answered
that "We like straight lines. Square it up". Swenson
suggested we wait for the Engineers report and have the
Planners give a recommendation of pros and cons and put it on
as an agenda item after the Planning Commission has these
reports and have time to review it. He said moving the line
for the school and SA is very clean and everyone wants the
school, but we need to look at it more closely.
Goenner motioned to table this matter until the next
meeting, or until the Engineer and Planners report are in for
further evaluation. McAlpine seconded the motion. Motion
carried unanimously.
other business - Wallace stated he had distributed a
copy of the Park and Trails Rec. Plan and the 16TH of
December is the hearing to consider adding it to Ot.sego's
Comprehensive Plan.
Roskaft motioned to adjourn. McAlpine seconded the
motion. Motion carried unanimously.
