Chair Swenson called the meeting to order at 8PM. The
following Planning Commission Members were present:

AGENDA ITEM #2:
Minutes of 7/7/93, Rask motioned to approve as written.
Roskaft seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.
AGENDA ITEM #3:
Continuation of Hearing on Mary Dare Baufield Driving
Range (Cont from 7/7/93) E of #101 & Co #39.
Swenson read Beatty's note that Mr Wally Klus, who is
helping Mary Dare Baufield with the application and
information on this project has lost a grand -daughter and has
been in the hospital three times in the last month. He is
asking for a continuation of the Hearing to the 18th of
August, 1993 Planning Commission Meeting.
Mark Wallace Motioned to continue the Hearing to August
18, 1993 at 8PM and it would be the last continuance.
Roskaft seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.
AGENDA ITEM #4:
Continuation of Sherry White, (John Anderson's Property)
Section 117, Twp 121, Range 23, SE of Co RD #39 and Nashua
(Sketch Plan Review of the Subdivision) (Continued from
7/7/93)
Kirmis explained what the request is. John Anderson has
asked how he can subdivide his land. We are looking from the
Planning Commission for an endorsement of Staff's opinion how
to handle this. He said he felt that three things need to be
done:
1. Streets need to be vacated
2. Subdivision to be done
3. PUD Zoning
The PUD Zoning would cover this unique situation of the old
TOwnsi.te Plat. Kirmis asked if the Planning Commission feels
if this is the appropriate way of handling this. Larry
Koshak, City Engr, has said there are no corner markers now.
Black said he suggests that John petition to vacate the
whole plat. Gary Sorenson owns the part of the plat to the
East of John's land. It was suggested that they could go
together and vacate the plat. When streets are vacated the
adjacent landowners get 1/2 of the streets.
