SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING

Call to Order.
Mayor Jessica Stockamp called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM.

2 E-8 School Update.
Mayor Stockamp returned at 8:27 p.m. for the E-8 School discussion. City Planner Dan Licht
arrived at this time.
City Administrator Johnson gave an overview of the status of the E-8 school project. She stated
that revised costs were calculated by the City Engineer and City Planner based on the revised
school site plan. All costs were calculated using existing City policy and past practice, no
deviations were made from City policy. City Planner Licht reviewed the cost calculations in his
memo to the City Administrator dated June 1, 2015. The Council concurred with staff's
direction and reiterated that City policy and past practice were used in the calculation of the
School District's project costs.
City Planner Dan Licht departed.
The Council continued discussion of the finance director interviews. After discussion, it was
agreed that one candidate would continue through the process with testing and a possible
second interview. City Administrator Johnson will develop and administer a test before
scheduling a second interview.
